The trails that begin at the Brown’s Ranch trailhead of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve provide great riding for all skill levels. The well-signed and maintained single track trail network allows for hours of exploration at the pace and distance of your choosing. AOA’s trailhead delivery service allows you to plan your adventure without the worry of managing bike transport logistics. We’ll set you up for success with your bikes, helmets, spare inner tubes, and a water bottle delivered right to our favorite trail location. We’ll even give you some intel on our favorite routes and points of interest!

Delivery Service Details

Price: $75 per party (1-3 bikes) or
$60 (4+ bikes) includes delivery and pick up. Delivery price does not include a bike rental.
Delivery Location: Brown’s Ranch Trailhead, 30301 N. Alma School Parkway, Scottsdale 85262 (MAP)
Schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 7am
Duration: 4 hours or full day

Locations, Trails, and Permits

All our regularly scheduled deliveries go to Brown’s Ranch in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, home to the Valley of the Sun’s best mountain biking and views, with trail selections available for riders from beginner to expert. Upon special request, we can deliver bikes to many other locations – please call our office for details.

AOA operates  in cooperation with and under permit of McDowell Sonoran Preserve and Maricopa County Parks in the Tonto National Forest.

What to Bring

Clothing – Comfortable, weather appropriate athletic clothing – shorts and a t-shirt, long sleeves are recommended on cooler mornings. Guests who have biking specific shorts or jerseys are encouraged to wear them.

Shoes – Close-toed athletic shoes (sneakers). If you have riding specific shoes that require specific bike pedals, please let us know in advance. We do not rent cycling shoes. Guests are welcome to bring their own pedals if they wish.

Miscellaneous – Sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, lip balm, medications, hat, etc.

Reservation Policies

Advance reservations are required and can only be confirmed with receipt of guest contact information and a valid credit card. Final payment is due in advance of the tour.

There is no charge for cancellations made more than 48 hours before departure time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours from departure time will be charged in full.
